The Wound That Would Not Heal

Georgianne Walker, an attorney, was born in 1975 in South Bend, Indiana. After surgery in December 2024, she developed a serious infection in her lower abdomen and an open, inflamed wound that would not heal. A second operation was scheduled.

In September 2025, a Lebanese friend, George Issa — who says he was healed through Saint Charbel three years earlier — gave her a vial of oil associated with the saint. She prayed for his intercession and applied the oil.

The wound healed completely, and she no longer needed the second operation. Her healing was officially recorded on January 17, 2026.
