A Tumor Gone Overnight
Racha Charbel · Jezzine, Lebanon
Racha Charbel was born in 1987 in Jezzine, in south Lebanon; she is no relation to the saint. On October 1, 2025, she was admitted to hospital with severe back pain, and an MRI found a meningioma on her spine, 2.3 cm long. Her neurosurgeon, Dr. Christian Atiya, said that only surgery could remove it.
On the night of January 6, 2026, with a picture of Saint Charbel above her bed, she placed her hand on it, asked to be healed and fell asleep. A repeat MRI on January 7 showed that the tumor had disappeared; she says her doctor found no medical explanation.
On January 17, 2026, she visited the Monastery of Saint Maron in Annaya, registered her healing and submitted her medical reports. As reported so far, the account relies largely on her own testimony.
