The Encounter of Raymond Nader

On the night of November 10, 1994, Raymond Nader was praying alone by candlelight at the hermitage of Saints Peter and Paul in Annaya. He reports that he felt a warm wind pass through the place, while the flames of the candles stayed perfectly still.
He says he was then surrounded by an overwhelming light and a presence he could not put into words. Afterwards, he found a mark in the shape of a hand on his upper left arm.
Dr. Nabil Hokayem, a plastic surgeon in Beirut, examined the mark in 1994, 1995 and 1996. He described it as a third-degree burn in the shape of a hand that caused no pain, and which faded without leaving a scar. Raymond Nader has told this story in his own words, including to Catholic News Agency.
