The Healing of Sister Mary Abel Kamari
Sister Mary Abel Kamari · Bikfaya & Annaya
From 1936, Sister Mary Abel Kamari suffered for about fourteen years from a pyloric ulcer and complications of the stomach. She underwent two operations, yet her condition worsened until she was confined to bed, her right hand paralysed.
On July 2, 1950, she travelled from Bikfaya to Annaya and prayed at the tomb of Charbel. The next morning she was healed.
Her healing was one of the miracles accepted for Charbel's beatification, which took place in 1965.
